• Uploaded Content (Zero-Storage Policy): We process the PDF documents you upload to generate flashcards. Under our Zero-Storage policy, uploaded PDF files are temporarily cached in a secure local directory during processing and are immediately and permanently deleted upon completion (regardless of success or failure). We do not store or retain your original PDF documents on our servers or any external storage.
• Usage Data: We may collect information about how you interact with our Service to improve the user experience.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for various purposes:

• To provide and maintain our Service.
• To process your PDFs and generate study materials.
• To manage your subscription and process payments via Lemon Squeezy.
• To communicate with you about account updates or support requests.
• To improve our Service reliability. We do not use your uploaded content to train our public AI models.

4. Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Since we do not store your original PDF files, only the generated flashcards and associated study metadata are stored in secure environments, using PostgreSQL with Row-Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure data isolation. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to power Cubrain:

• Firebase: For user authentication.
• Lemon Squeezy: For secure payment processing and subscription management.
• Google Gemini: For AI-powered text processing and flashcard generation.
• Vercel: For hosting and analytics.

These third parties have access to your personal data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
